How to enroll
A teacher registers as a school coordinator and enters the students. Homeschool parents can register as a coordinator for their own homeschool.
- Ask a teacher to register as a coordinator on the Bebras USA site
- Once approved (1–3 business days), the coordinator creates student accounts
- The coordinator schedules one day in the Nov 9–20 window and supervises the challenge
Homeschooling? Register as a coordinator with a distinctive homeschool name.
Homeschool registration ↗In plain words
Bebras is an international computational-thinking challenge. Students solve 15 multiple-choice logic puzzles online in 45 minutes, supervised by a teacher at school. No programming knowledge is needed and there is nothing to study. The USA challenge window is Nov 9–20, 2026. It is free, and a teacher or homeschool parent registers as a coordinator and enters the students. Students get a score and certificate; there is no advancing round.
Kids who like puzzles and want to try computer-science thinking without writing code
No teacher at school is willing to coordinate, and you are not homeschooling
